All Jack & Jill Contests:
Division eligibility is based on World Swing Dance Council (WSDC) awarded points as listed in the WSDC points registry found at the following web address: http://www.swingdancecouncil.com/registry_search.asp
Regardless of points earned, a competitor may option to remain in a lower division until he/she has taken a first place win.
Dancers will be randomly paired with a partner: one male and one female. The DJs will pick the music. No lifts drops, aerials or choreographed routines allowed.
Newcomer Jack & Jill: 0-4 Newcomer points.
Novice Jack & Jill: 0-19 Novice points.
Intermediate Jack & Jill: 0-24 Intermediate points.
Advanced/All-Star Jack & Jill: 25+ Intermediate points.

All Strictly Swing Contests:
Dancers will choose a partner: one male and one female. The DJs will pick the music. No lifts drops, aerials or choreographed routines allowed.

Novice Strictly Swing:
This division is open to dancers who are not eligible for Intermediate or higher Jack & Jill. Intermediate and Advanced/All Star dancers may not "dance down" in this division.

Intermediate Strictly Swing:
This division is open to dancers who are eligible for Intermediate Jack & Jill and not eligible for Advanced or higher Jack & Jill. Advanced/All Star dancers may not "dance down" in this division. A Novice dancer may "dance up" in the Intermediate division if he/she is partnered with an Intermediate dancer.

Advanced/All-Star Strictly Swing:
This division is open to dancers who are eligible for Advanced or All Star Jack & Jill. A Novice or Intermediate dancer may "dance up" in the Advanced/All Star division if he/she is partnered with an Advanced/All Star dancer.

Contest Minimums:
In the unlikely event that any Jack & Jill or strictly swing contest has less than 5 couples, or the Showtime Challenge has less than 5 contestants, then that event might be held as an exhibition only and not awarded any points or prizes.
